Weird Linux Device Driver Page

This page contains some projects I have worked on over the years that I've GPL'd and released in case there's someone else out there is trying to tackle the same sort of weird little hardware projects as me. The drivers aren't in great shape or well-tested, but they do work and are reasonably cleanly coded.

I'd like to thank Neoteric for hosting. Go check out their site.

DAC

This is a driver and test program for the CIO-DAC04/12-HS analogue output board from Measurement Computing. I used it to drive a Vectrex monitor beam, and had plans to use it to drive a laser scanner.

It should be useful to anyone that wants to control a device that uses voltage as input.

UGCI

The UGCI is a cool little USB interface board made by Happ that allows you to access arcade controls such as joysticks, coin or bill feeders, trackballs, and other professional arcade controls. I developed it while working on an arcade game called Savage Quest at Angel Studios. You could use it to make your own Linux-based arcade cabinet, or build yourself a professional arcade control setup for playing arcade games on your home PC with MAME.
